World Association of Nuclear Operators

WANO (The World Association of Nuclear Operators) is an international organisation dedicated to nuclear power safety globally. It is a not-for-profit, with a mission to maximise the safety and reliability of the world’s nuclear power plants.

S2 partnered with WANO for over 15 years, working with 6 different Communication Directors in that time, producing communications materials and overseeing a brand refresh and various brand developments during those years.

Designing mindfully for different cultures with vastly different visual heritages is also an interesting task, as is keeping a brand’s visual expression consistent yet dynamic over those 15 years

I had the pleasure of working with Andy (S2) and the talented team he assembled when I headed up communications for the World Association of Nuclear Operators in London.
