Verso is a term used in the publishing world for the left-hand page of a book. The right hand is known as a recto.
We suggested the name to one of our print suppliers when he mooted his idea for a vanity publishing business to keep his presses running when his normal workload was slow.
His idea was aimed mainly at academics who need to ‘publish’ to have their research validated; and believed there was a market for a more professional service for that arena.
We created the logo and stationery design as a favour to help establish this new venture.
