Typo Negative
Our logo and name proposal for a company offering text services – proof reading, editing, translations. The name has a double meaning – firstly, the removal of typo’s from within the text but also referencing and twisting the well-known blood type.
The E has deliberately left out the name – with the O picked out in a different font and in red which so alludes to the red pen mark-ups that proofreaders use to denote corrections needed. The addition of the underscore to the O also means that this element can be read as O negative which then leads to a simple and elegant reduction of the name for use on social media. We played special attention to the ligatures (the linking elements between letters) in the black text to give a more stylish, designed and bespoke look to the final logotype.
