Harvest Fields
In partnership with a building contractor, and the local council the owner of Harvest Fields built 520 new homes on his land. The new estate centred around a ‘village green’ on which was housed a multi-purpose community building, which could be hired as a conference centre and also housed sports facilities, a cafe, various community programmes and a church. The next phase of development sees proposals for expansion with the possible addition of over 5000 additional new homes.
S2 developed the brand and communications literature for the project, comprising of a folder, two promotional brochures (for both the community centre and conference centre), stationery and branding.
The chosen brand logo is a dynamic box – shown in various stages of opening with it resolving as an open cross. This depicted the landowner’s hope that as they serve the community, people will become more open and engage with the message of the church – which was the driving force of the housing development vision in the first place. The dynamic nature of the unfolding logo is a gift for an animated logo for online use – whilst its closed state, shown as a three-quarter view, provided interesting angles that could be mirrored within the corporate literature.
We also provided photographic services for this project.
