Bayshi are a small independent store selling luxury items – specifically focused on fine silks and leather goods.
The logo was created to reflect the flow and elegance of silk.
Black packaging was chosen as, according to colour psychology, it conveys a sense of prestige, value and sophistication whilst remaining timeless.
The use of the black-on-black for the logo application reinforces the message of elegance and refinement.
Both the logo and coloured silk stripes were designed to be picked out with a high-gloss spot varnish adding extra impact as they would shine in the light – further reinforcing the high-value positioning of the brand.
