The Zebra logo design is purposefully simple and elegant. Sometimes brand attributes are a natural extension from the name and logo – the use of Zebra stripes within the brand was not a great leap.
Shown here are our initial half-page adverts and promotional postcards that used illustration, to reduce the production costs, and which introduced the concept of the ‘zebra guys’. Quirky characters that reflected the brand attitude.
The concept naturally adapted into a photographic application, morphing with the growing company as it grew and could afford to direct more finance towards the marketing budget.
