Wasp Motorcycles have a 60-year history, following many successful years at the cutting edge of off-road sidecar racing, they now specialise in producing classic models.
We created a new logo and name mark to appeal to a more contemporary market, with the stylised wasp graphic referencing the shape of a W.
As usual, we created logo options for different usage scenarios. We also devised messaging that leveraged the strong heritage of the brand, and a ‘yellow patch’ that also references ‘bike culture’ – with ‘patches’ on leathers and owners-club patches being synonymous with the bike world.
Also shown are our designs for advertising items that further develop the yellow patch and related messaging, and present the positive associations most bikers allude to when they talk about getting out on a ride.
