Oxleigh Groundworks

For the Oxleigh Groundworks identity, obviously, the ox image was derived from the name but it is also a good metaphor for groundwork contractors as oxen are historical ‘beasts of burden’ used for heavy work.  Powerful and strong, the ox was a good image to align with. We just had to create a rendering of the ox that conveyed gravitas and dignity as well as strength.

We combined the image with a bespoke typeface designed to echo the shapes and dimensions found within the logo (as shown on the construction image below). We created our usual variations of the logo for different usage formats and social media icons. Also shown are the stationery designs.
